Black Friday is one of the biggest days of the year that everyone knows. But are you aware of the extent of the sales that this day makes? How about Cyber Monday? Everybody knows that Black Friday is the day to buy the items you need, want or just look at because of the vast amount of deals available on the day. This isn’t just word of mouth, the numbers back it up and they are higher than you would expect! Last year, $5.03 billion was spent on Black Friday, with the UK bringing in £1.4 billion in sales. 2016 saw a decrease in foot traffic to shopping centres and retail parks, down by 3.6%, whilst Amazon was raking in 54% of all Black Friday transactions!

Black Friday isn’t the only big day during this period, Cyber Monday is an even bigger contender. Is your business prepared for this? Bringing in $6.59 billion in the US, Cyber Monday really brings in the cash for sellers. Amazon, once again, brings in a large amount of these sales which are at a far greater volume than 2016!
